• The batteries are out of power
or a meter error occurred. –
Slide and release
to turn
off the meter. Then, slide and
release
to turn on the
meter again. If the error
message reappears, the
batteries may be out of power.
Insert new batteries. If the
error message still appears
when the meter is turned on
call the ACCU-CHEK Customer
Care Service Center at 1-800-
858-8072.
• The meter was exposed to a
strong electromagnetic eld. –
Slide and release
to turn
off the meter. Move to a
different area or turn off the
source of the eld.
• The test strip was bent before
the test started or during the
test. – Discard the test strip
and repeat the test.
• Blood or control solution was
applied to the test strip before
the ashing test strip and drop
symbol appeared on the
display. – Discard the test strip
and repeat the test.
The test strip was removed
during testing. – Slide and
release
to turn off the
meter. Only remove the test strip
from the meter by sliding and
releasing
