the display with a ashing test
strip and drop symbol.
5. Select the control solution you
want to test.
6. Remove the control bottle cap
and wipe the tip of the bottle
with a tissue.
7. Invert the bottle and hold it
downwards at an angle.
Squeeze it gently until a small
drop forms at the tip.
8. Apply the drop to a clean and
easily washable surface made
of glass, porcelain or stainless
steel, such as a plate or spoon.
NOTE
Control solution you apply must come from a drop that has formed at the bottle tip. Do not use the drop
if it has run down the outside of the tip. This may lead to results that are too high.
Control solution must have been freshly applied to the surface. The control solution must not be left
exposed on the surface for any length of time, or it may give results that are too high.
