You need the meter with a test drum inserted, and a lancing device, a lancet, and the AST cap
(available upon request from the ACCU‑CHEK Customer Service Center).
1. Wash your hands and the test
site with warm, soapy water
and dry thoroughly.
2. Remove the black cap by
pulling it straight off. Use your
thumb and nger to pull on the
recessed area as seen in the
illustration.
3. Insert a lancet until it clicks.
