7.4. Information on Disposing and Recycling of Old Electrical and Electronic Equipment
The information in this section is applicable for countries that have adopted separate
waste collection systems.
ACOM products cannot be disposed as household waste.
Waste electricals
This symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) explains that you should
not place the electrical item in the general waste.
Waste electricals
This symbol (three green arrows going in a triangle with electrical
plug in the center) means that according to local laws and
regulations this product should be sent for recycling.
Old electrical and electronic equipment and batteries should be recycled at a facility capable of handling
these items and their waste byproducts.
Contact your local authority for details in locating a recycle facility nearest to you.
Proper recycling and waste disposal will help conserve resources whilst preventing detrimental effects on
our health and the environment.
