TROUBLE CONDITIONS
3. A dispiay of “BAT” with no zone number indicates that the main standby
battery in your control is weak. if this condition persists for more than one
day (with AC present), CALL FOR SERViCE.
4. A dispiay of “BAT” with a zone number and a once per minute “beeping” at
the Consoie indicates that a iow battery condition exists in the wireless sensor
displayed(zone “00” indicates a wireless keypad). Either repiace the battery
yourseif, or CALL FOR SERViCE. If the battery is not replaced within 30 days,
a CHECK display may occur.
Some wireless sensors contain non-replaceable long-life battery which requires
replacement of the entire unit at the end of battery iife (e.g., 5802 Pendant and
5802CP Belt Clip Personai Emergency Transmitters and 5803 Wireless Key
Transmitters).
Power Failure If them is no consoie dispiay at aii, and the POWER indicator (if present) is
not iit, operating power for the system has stopped and the system is inoperative.
CALL FOR SERViCE immediately.
if the message “AC LOSS” or “NO AC” is dispiayed, and the POWER
indicator (if present) is off, the Console is operating on battery power only. If only
some lights are out on the premises, check circuit breakers and fuses and reset or
replace as necessary. CALL FOR SERViCE iMMEDIATELY if AC power cannot
be restored.
