Prius ‘04-’09 Special Instructions
Necessary Steps to Successful Programming:
1) Must Have Orange Dongle “M”.
2) Must Have MVP Pro or TCODE Pro with ADS-150 software.
3) Read and Follow these Instructions.
4) There is no difference in the programming procedure for cars
with Smart Access Proximity and cars without.
5) Models that do not have Smart Access require the Remote -
Fob to be in the Learning Slot to start the car, always.
6) It is recommended to only use new Fobs. Fobs from other
cars and used Fobs from “who knows where” are not advised
because of problems programming them into the Wireless ECU.
7) The maximum number of programmed Fobs is 4.
