7-3 Shutting Down the Dryer
Turn off the conveying system supplying the drying hopper.
When processing is complete, close the hopper slide gate and shut
down any in-line companion equipment, such as the aftercooler.
Turn the Dryer ON/OFF selector switch to OFF.
Turn the system ON/OFF switch to OFF.
If needed, empty the drying hopper.
For maintenance or a long term shutdown, open (de-energize) the
electrical disconnects at the dryer and at the power drop.
