17. Measure and mark 3” back from the 1 1/4” rev-
erence line.
18. Draw a hot air exit and muffler relief hole in the
cowl template as shown below.
Note: Relief hole is offset on template to match
offset of engine and muffler. Always double
check your work.
19. Draw joining lines from the cylinder head cut
out to the front of the hot air exit box as shown
20. Using a hobby knife cut out the template for the
hot air exit and muffler relief hole.
