About Gain Calibration
Regular calibration of the DR Detector assures constant image quality. This calibration eliminates
the effect of sensitivity deviations over the panel and/or corrects non-unifomity in the X-ray beam.
The sensitivity deviations of pixels across the DR Detector are affected by the quantity and pattern
of the effective X-ray dose on the detector. Depending on the the panel type it will also correct dead
pixels in the acquired images.
