Starting the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer Software
The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer software is pre-installed on bundle PCs.
However, the full functionality of the software becomes available only if you
add the required license key(s). License keys are supplied with the 2100
Bioanalyzer electrophoresis set and/or with the flow cytometry set (see
Table 3 on page 23 and Table 4 on page 23).
1 Open the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer expert software by double-clicking the
icon on the desktop.
2 Select Help > Registration and highlight the Add License tab.
3 Add the appropriate license key.
4 To establish instrument-PC communication, assign a COM-port in the
instrument context. When the communication is established, instrument
specific information like serial number, vendor information and firmware
version is displayed.
