Operation
Before the instrument is switched on, all protective ground terminals,
extension cords, auto-transformers, and devices connected to it must be
connected to a protective ground socket. Any interruption of the protective
grounding will cause a potential shock hazard that could result in serious
personal injury. Whenever it is likely that the protection has been impaired,
the instrument must be made inoperative and be secured against any intended
operation.
To operate the instrument safely:
• Do not remove any cover of the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer
• Avoid any maintenance of the instrument under voltage
• Do not let liquid drip into the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. It could cause a
shock or it could damage the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer.
• Do not replace components of the instruments (e.g. electrode cartridge or
pressure cartridge) with power turned on.
• Do not operate the instrument in the presence of flammable gases or fumes.
Operation of any electrical instrument in such an environment constitutes a
definite safety hazard.
• Do not install substitute parts or make any unauthorized modification to
the instrument.
Ensure the proper usage of the equipment
The protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
