To remove the electrodes:
1
Remove both window assemblies, by twisting and pulling.
2 Flip up the latch (Figure 26, item 1) on top of the furnace.
3 Open the furnace using the lever (Figure 26, item 5) and remove
the rubber skirt from the right side.
4 Loosen the magnet screw (Figure 26, item 2) a few turns.
5 Carefully pull the center block (Figure 26, item 3) of the furnace
upwards and clear of the workhead. Leave the tubing in place.
6 Lay out the components of the electrode replacement tool.
7 Pass the drawbolt through electrode on the right (from the
outside of the furnace). Refer to Figure 27.

4. Stainless steel collar
8 Place the spacer over the electrode on the inside of the furnace.
NOTE
Ensure that the spacer sits inside the rubber grommet and doesn't pinch the
rubber when clamped.
