Please read this operating and maintenance guide carefully and also give it to anyone else assigned the task
of handling and using this unit. This operating and maintenance guide must be kept during the expected ser-
vice life of the unit and also always be available at the unit.

After delivery, immediately check the unit for transport damage and make sure it works. All safety devices
must be present and functional before operating the unit.
• The unit may only be operated in its position of use (level, horizontal, with openings to the front). (Please
observe the installation instructions.) If the unit is tilted during transport, then wait at least 2 hours before
starting it up in order to prevent any damage.
• The unit starts to run straight away once it is connected to its supply voltage. Note the power rating on the
rating plate as well as the relevant local electrical safety regulations before connecting the unit to the power
supply.

Do not heat the unit to more than 70°C (158°F). Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight. The ambient
temperature, however, must also not drop below 16°C (61°F).
• Cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner (steam jets) is not permitted.
• Work on the electrical system and refrigeration system may only be performed by specialists. If this is not
observed, all guarantee and liability claims become null and void.
• Sharp objects can scratch the glass panes, which may lead to their destruction (safety glass).
• Regarding disposal, please check your obligations in accordance with the national WEEE provisions
and please take the unit to the local WEEE disposal partner
• Ensure that the piping is not damaged (Do not drill into unit).

The unit starts to work after a short dealy of about 1 minute straight away once it is connected to its supply
voltage. Note the power rating on the rating plate as well as the relevant local electrical safety regulations be-
fore connecting the unit to the power supply.

• No canisters containing ammable propellant gases may be stored in the cabinet.
• No objects such as bottles etc. are to be placed on the cabinet.
• If a glass bottle stored in the cabinet breaks, carefully remove all the broken glass from inside the cabinet, taking care
to avoid injury.
• The unit must be checked regularly for foreign bodies in the goods display area and for damage (sharp edges).
