Exit Beacons are used to prevent the accidental removal of Pagers from site. When a Pager passes an Exit
Beacon it will alert the user, if the Pager leaves site it will start to bleep and the only way to stop it is by
returning it to the charger.
Exit Beacons are battery powered and operate wirelessly – typical battery life 3 years.
A maximum of 150 Exit Beacons can be installed per site; the total number and positioning will be
determined by an RF survey prior to commencing the installation.
