equal to API_OK the function ApiGetErrorDescription can be used to obtain an
error description.
Note: If ‘rsize’ would be greater than ‘max_size’ or data
would be overwritten within the Bus Monitor
Stack, an overflow is indicated through ‘ovfl’.
