5.2 Dentist Unit
Handpiece Activation
The handpieces automatically activate when you lift a handpiece
from its holder or pull the Continental whip forward. Press the foot
control to operate the activated handpiece.
5.2.1 Flexible Arm Brake
The flexible arm brake allows you to place varying amounts of
weight (2.5kg. maximum) on the control head tray while maintaining
the position. The thumb-actuated brake restricts vertical movement
but allows for side-to-side horizontal positioning of the control head
(see Figure 21.-22.).
