TO ADJUST THE SQUELCH
What is the Squelch?
When there is no signal present on a particular frequency the radio only hears noise.
The Squelch feature mutes the audio when there is no signal or no strong signal
present. By adjusting the squelch level you control how strong a signal needs to be to
open the squelch and unmute the audio.

keys. The squelch level can range from 0 (open squelch) to 10 (tight squelch).
TIP! Set the squelch level to 2 to start, you can always adjust it later.
