Configure Distributed I/O
Modules on a DeviceNet
Network
Your CompactLogix 5370 L2 control system can use distributed I/O modules on
a DeviceNet network.
Complete these steps to configure distributed I/O modules on a
DeviceNet network.
1. If you have not done so, install a 1769-SDN Compact I/O DeviceNet
scanner into the local bank of your CompactLogix 5370 L2 control
system.
2. Right-click 1769 Bus and choose New Module.
3. Select the 1769-SDN scanner and click Create.
