Install a 1756 DeviceNet Communication Module Chapter 1
Apply Chassis Power and
Check Status Indicators
Before you apply power, you must install and connect a ControlLogix chassis and
power supply.
To apply power, follow these steps.
1. Apply chassis power as shown.
2. Check the power supply and status indicators to determine that the power
supply and module are operating properly.
The module status display should cycle through the following states:
TEST - PASS - OK - REV x.x, where x.x is the module’s firmware revision.
Power Supply indicator is green.
OK indicator is red during
self-test, then green.
