Chapter 15 Programming via Drive Parameters
Numeric/Decimal Parameters
These parameters have a single numeric value. For example, ID123 (P1.007)
(Torque Command Low Pass Filter Time Constant) supports values in ms, with a
default value of 0 ms.
Parameters in Hexadecimal Format
The drive has some parameters that are 16-bits or 32-bits in size and are
represented in hexadecimal format. The settings for these parameters are defined
either by the value of each bit or by the value of each hexadecimal digit,
represented by D, C, B, A (high) and U, Z, Y, X (low).
For example, ID230 (P2.047) is a 16-bit parameter that translates to one
hexadecimal number with four digits. This settings for this parameter are defined
both by the actual value of the X hexadecimal digit and by the values of the
individual bits in the Y and Z digits.
