Appendix F Work with RSLogix 5000 Software, Version 15 or Later
Work with the Module Info
Dialog Box
From the top of the dialog box, click the Module Info tab. The Module Info
dialog box displays identification and status of the 1783-EMS switch. The
information displays while the controller is in Run mode only.
The Module Info dialog box includes the following.
• Refresh: Refreshes identification and status on this dialog box.
• Reset Module: Resets the 1783-EMS switch (communication to the
module will be interrupted).
Work with the Port
Configuration Dialog Box
The entries on the dialog box that you access by clicking Port Configuration
include the following.
• Network Configuration: Use to configure network settings.
– Box Name: Descriptive name for the switch.
– IP Address: IP address of the 1783-EMS switch must match the IP
address on the General dialog box.
