8.7 NUTS AND BOLTS
1. After the rst day, and regularly thereafter, inspect wheel nuts and
tandem axle U-bolts (where tted).
2. After the rst week, and each week thereafter, check all nuts and bolts,
including bearing nuts, for tightness.

8.8 TYRES
1. Each week check the tyres for wear and damage.
2. Each week check the tyre pressures. Optimum tyre pressures are shown in Table 7.
This information is given as guidance. If in doubt please contact KEENAN service.
WARNING:
When retting and re-inating tyre/wheel assemblies,
a safety cage should be used to prevent possible
injury. Incorrectly tted tyres are dangerous. Please
make sure tyre repairs are carried out by experienced
tyre tters.
