during active alarms, and can be disabled if required.
• Ethernet: dual ports 10/100 Base T Ethernet connection on both the front and rear of the controller
for remote or local communication.
• USB: dual ports on both the front and rear of the controller for upgrades and file management via
a standard USB flash drive.
• CAN: dual independent CAN bus ports for communication with the Alpha Cordex™ and AMPS
family of products, which allows for a greater number of devices.
• Real-time clock with field replaceable lithium battery: allows for timestamps on alarms and
events.
• System fail alarm/relay: this activates when there is a major internal failure. During such a condi-
tion the unit attempts to reset.
