Capabilities in Renaissance Place Programs
Capabilities in Renaissance Place programs give users the right to perform
specific tasks in the software. They are preassigned based on
• The user group you belong to and the position you hold in your district or
school
• The tasks that group usually performs
KeyWords RP has no capabilities that are unique to that program, but you can
find a table of Renaissance Place tasks and the standard set of capabilities in
the Renaissance Place Software Manual. Within Renaissance Place, district
or school administrators can change the capabilities assigned to:
• New users added to a specific group
• Groups of current users already in the database
• A specific person
To find out how to change capabilities, see the Renaissance Place Software
Manual. That manual also includes a list of the user groups and the positions
in each group.
