Bicycle shorts and vest are not simply accessories for comfort; they
also allow you to move more freely than in usual clothes. There are
two types of bicycle shorts: conventional tight-fitting shorts and
baggy shorts. Both are designed to lower friction and prevent
chafing. Soft lining of bicycle shorts softens impacts and prevents
chafing of the crotch. Bicycle shorts should be worn without
underwear. There is also special bicycle underwear with soft lining,
designed for wearing with usual clothes. Bicycle vests usually have
pockets on the back that are convenient for holding various items
required on a ride. Bicycle clothes are usually made of special
materials designed to increase comfort and convenience when
riding.
It’s very important to drink plenty of water before and when
engaging in sports. Don’t forget to take a bottle of water when you
set out on a relatively long ride.
CHAPTER 8. WARRANTY POLICY
1. This warranty has been drawn up pursuant to the provisions of
the Russian Law On Protection of Consumer Rights and confirms
the buyer’s entitlement to warranty service of a product purchased
in the seller’s shop or in the shops of authorised dealers. This
warranty is an integral part of the agreement of retail sale and
purchase and reflects its main conditions.
2. The seller warrants the absence of faults evident in the form of
material defects and/or other manufacturing defects in the sold
product. In the event of the discovery of such defects within the term
of the warranty, the buyer is entitled to warranty
service of the purchased product. Warranty service includes
replacement or repair of units and parts, and also any other actions
aimed at remedying existing faults. The right to carry out work to
remedy faults can be partly or completely assigned to third parties
without the consumer’s consent at the discretion of the seller.
3. Term of warranty
3.1. Five years for bicycle frames made of aluminium alloys
3.2. One year for bicycle frames made of carbon
3.3. Components and parts (except tyres, tubes, wheel rims,
spokes, cable linkages, oil seals, dust caps, rubber seals, any plastic
or rubber moving or abrading parts, bolts, nuts, surfaces of fork legs,
springs, attaching points for wheels and brake shoes, chains, rear
derailleur mounts and rollers, and also front and rear sprockets) sold
as part of the bicycle—6 months.
If the warranty certificate is not endorsed with the stamp of the retail
organization and the surname, name, patronymic and signature of
the buyer and the date of sale, claims in relation to quality will only be
accepted if there is material evidence of proof of purchase and the
date of purchase in the seller’s shops. If the date of sale cannot be
ascertained, the term of this warranty will start from the time of
manufacture of the bicycle.
4. The seller reserves the right to limit the scope of warranty service
or completely refuse to provide it if faults have occurred as a result
of:
