2) An accident or road traffic incident (RTI)
3) Operation of the bicycle in a manner that is inappropriate
according to its specifications
4) Neglectful use of the bicycle, resulting in failure of the
bicycle or its individual components
5) Incorrect assembly, adjustment, repair, or maintenance
conducted independently or by persons unauthorised by the seller
to conduct service or repair work, and also a lack of essential
periodical maintenance in the process of operation
6) Use of the bicycle in stunt and sporting competitions, jumps
using a ramp, acrobatic exercises, or other particularly severe
operating conditions
7) Installation of internal combustion engines, electric or other
motors on the bicycle, and use of the bicycle, partially or
completely, as a part of any apparatus or mechanisms
8) Existence of deformational mechanical damage (bends, chips
of material, deep scratches, notches)
9) Unauthorised interference by the owner in the design of the
bicycle, resulting in a change of its intended purpose, geometry,
and other characteristics, by means of the installation of
components not specified for this model, and also by means of the
removal of components provided by the original design of the
bicycle.
5. It is not deemed a fault if the bicycle fails to suit the subjective
biometric parameters of the buyer (owner), if such unsuitability is
identified after purchase.
Making the bicycle suitable for the biometric parameters. If such a
need arises, it is an additional paid service, and
it implies that the buyer will compensate all the seller’s expenses in
carrying out such work, including costs of components, workshop
services and other expenses.
6. The seller’s warranty policy in no way releases the owner from the
responsibility to conduct regular inspections and, if necessary, to ask
the seller to carry out essential technical maintenance of the bicycle.
7. Warranty service does not include periodical maintenance unrelated
to the occurrence of defects, but essential for maintaining uninterrupted
operation of all the bicycle’s units and components.
8. Tyres, tubes, wheel rims, spokes, cable linkages, oil seals, dust
caps, rubber seals, any plastic or rubber moving or abrading parts,
bolts, nuts, surfaces of fork legs, springs, attaching points of wheels
and brake shoes, chains, rear derailleur mounts and rollers, and also
front and rear sprockets are not subject to warranty service. These
components are consumables and subject to natural wear during
operation of the bicycle.
9. The warranty policy does not cover remedy of faults and
compensation for damages incurred as a result of RTI, misuse of the
bicycle, failure to observe assembly and operation rules, lack of
essential maintenance, disorderly behaviour when riding, and a lack of
skills necessary to control the bicycle.
10. The warranty policy in relation to the bicycle and components does
not apply to the consequences of using the bicycle in winter, at
temperatures below 0°C or in the rain, as well as complete or partial
submergence of components in water or dirt.
