CD Shuttle Operation
Controlling CD Shuttle
(Optional)
An optional Alpine CD Shuttle may be con-
nected to the Ai-NET connector of the TDA-
7548E/TDA-7547E. All of the CD functions can
be accessed through the head unit's front
panel.
The TDA-7548E/TDA-7547E can control
multiple Alpine Shuttles when connected
through the Multi-Changer Switching device(s)
(KCA-400C). See the Multi-Changer Selection
section on page 42 for selecting the CD
Shuttles.
Note: The CD controls on the TDA-7548E/
TDA-7547E will function only when a
CD Shuttle is connected.

The display example shows when playing Track
5 on Disc 3.
Press the SOURCE button to activate the CD
Shuttle. The display shows the disc number
and track number.
Note: To start play or pause playback, press
the :/J button.
When a 6-disc CD Shuttle is connected:
Make sure that the Function indicator illumi-
nated. Press the Preset buttons or 8 and
9 buttons to select the desired disc loaded in
the CD Shuttle.

When a 12-disc CD Shuttle is connected:
To select the disc numbers from 1 to 6, the
procedure is the same as for the 6-disc CD
Shuttle. To select the disc numbers from 7 to
12, first press the "F" button to change the "D–"
indicator to "d–," then press the desired Preset
button. When the "F" button is first pressed, the
Preset buttons 1 to 6 act as 7 to 12 respec-
tively.
You can also use the 8 and 9 buttons to
select a desired disc.
