STEP 6b.
Option 2: External Float Control (Differential) Connecting “Level Control Leads and Alarm
Steps & Tips:
- Check for nicks and damage to wire prior to installation.
- Ensure wire is secured into terminal strip by pulling on wire aer installed.
External Level Control – Differential (ELC-Diff Mode)
Power to motor is controlled via SPC by monitoring differential switch (BI1). SPC turns motor on when BI1 closes and
turns it off when BI1 opens. High level Alarm is monitored via BI3.
Inputs
1. BI1 – Differential Float.
2. BI3 – High Level Alarm Float.
3. BI4 – High Pressure Switch (optional). Normally
close – linked if not in use
SW1 Settings
SW1-2 sets the SPC to External Level Control – Differ-
ential.
