Option 4: Pressure Transducer Connecting “Level Control Leads and Alarm”
Steps & Tips:
- Check for nicks and damage to wire prior to installation.
- Ensure wire is secured into terminal strip by pulling on wire aer installed.
External Level Control – Transducer (ELC-Trans Mode)
Power to motor is controlled via SPC by monitoring set points on transducer (AI1). SPC turns motor on when AI1 is greater
than or equal to “ProbeStart” and turns it off when less than or equal to “ProbeStop”. Back up High level Alarm is moni-
tored via BI3.
Inputs
1. AI1 – Transducer.
2. BI3 – Backup High Level Alarm Float.
3. BI4 – High Pressure Switch (optional). Normally
close – linked if not in use.
SW1 Settings
SW1-4 sets the SPC to External Level Control – Trans-
ducers.
The combination of SW1-1, SW1-2, and SW1-3 is used
to select one of the 3 different types of Transducers.
