Option 3: External Float Control (Individual) Connecting “Level Control Leads and Alarm”
Steps & Tips:
- Check for nicks and damage to wire prior to installation.
- Ensure wire is secured into terminal strip by pulling on wire aer installed.
External Level Control – Individual (ELC-Ind Mode)
Power to motor is controlled via SPC by monitoring start (BI2) and Stop (BI1) switches. SPC turns motor on when BI2 clos-
es and even though BI2 opens it only turns motor off when BI1 opens. High level Alarm is monitored via BI3.
Inputs
1. BI1 – Stop Float.
2. BI2 – Start Float.
3. BI3 – High Level Alarm Float.
4. BI4 – High Pressure Switch (optional). Normally
close – linked if not in use.
SW1 Settings
SW1-3 sets the SPC to External Level Control –
Individual.
