Calibrate Sensor
This menu allows you to calibrate the Temperature probe
throughtheinterface.Byusingthekeys, you may choose
whethertoperforma new calibrationbyselecting“New”,
or to delete a previous one and reset the interface to the
defaultsettingsbyselecting“Cancel”(Fig.66).Acalibration
shouldbeperformedwhentheinterfaceisrstconnectedto
the system.
ATTENTION: The temperature sensor already has a
standard calibration set by default, but it is advisable
to perform a calibration using a mercury thermometer
as reference.
Intheeventthatthereadtemperaturedoesnotcorrespond
tootherinstrumentsintheaquarium,itispossibletoalign
thevaluesbyfollowingtheprocedurebelow:
1) Immerse the sensor in your aquarium.
2)Enterinthemenu“Calibrate sensor”.
3)Usingthekeys and setthevaluereadbytherefer-
ence instrument next to “Calib. Value”(Fig.67)
4)Wait10minutesinordertoallowthesensor’sreadvalue
tostabilize.Thereadvaluemaystabilizeonavaluethatis
slightlydifferentthanthatofthereference.
5)Oncethe10minuteshaveelapsed,press“Enter”.
6)Thecontrollerwilldisplaythecalibrationresult(Fig.68);
rinse the probe and insert in aquarium.
Note: The calibration may be cancelled at any time by press-
ing“Esc”. This will return the calibration parameters to those
of the last completed calibration.
