Composite
UPC_Composite_Mode
It links a UPC bar code and a 2D bar code. If
you turn on Composite CC-A/B, you need to
decide how these bar codes are linked.
￭ Never Linked
Send the UPC bar code with or without
the 2D portion.
￭ Always Linked
Send the UPC bar code and the 2D
portion. If the 2D portion is not detected,
the UPC bar code won’t be sent.
￭ Autodiscriminate UPC Composites
The decoder determines if there is a 2D
portion, and sends the UPC bar code as
well as the 2D portion (if present).
