What to do if Armstrong Emech G1 Controller actuator does not function even though power is attached?
    • L
      Laura StewartAug 11, 2025
If your Armstrong Controller actuator isn't working despite being connected to power, there could be two reasons. First, the power push button might be off; press and hold it for 2 seconds to turn the unit on. Second, the fuse might be missing or blown, in which case you should replace it.

Why Armstrong Controller actuator will not control temperature and displays ‘E2’?
    • D
      Dawn SinghAug 21, 2025
If your Armstrong Controller actuator displays 'E2' and won't control temperature, it could be due to the temperature probe. Check if the probe is securely plugged into the actuator. If it is, the temperature probe might be damaged and needs replacement.

How to fix Armstrong Emech G1 actuator that moves excessively or oscillates while controlling temperature?
    • R
      riverapatriciaAug 31, 2025
If your Armstrong Controller actuator moves excessively or oscillates while controlling temperature, it's likely due to the controller gains being set too high for the current water supply conditions. Decrease the P and D gain until the control is stable. Also, improve water supply pressures to increase outlet flow above nominal minimum controllable flow.
