3 PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
3.1 General
Maintenance shall be carried out in order to provide reliable operation and constant
readiness of the product for use.
The objects of maintenance are:
− DIS-IP2 Desktop call station;
− condition and connection of cables suitable for the product.
Maintenance is performed by DIS-IP2 service personnel.
Maintenance is performed once a year without switching the product off.
3.2 Safety precautions
The product provides safety for service personnel and meets the safety requirements
of Class III, set out in GOST IEC 61140-2012.
During maintenance, observe safety precautions according to “Occupation safe-
ty rules when operating electrical installation.
3.3 Product maintenance procedure
Maintenance includes the following activities:
− visual inspection of DIS-IP2 enclosure; there shall be no mechanical damages
(crack, dents, etc.) on its enclosure and pushbuttons; no fractures in the flexi-
ble part of microphone stand;
− visual inspection of the incoming cables to DIS-IP2 (no compressions and
damages of outer sheath);
− safety check of connection to the connectors on the cable - the cable shall
have no tension;
− cleaning of DIS-IP2 surface from dirt, using for this purpose the wet sponge
impregnated with mild soap solution or wet wipes for cleaning office appli-
ances ; the use of chemically active solvents is not admitted;
− perform diagnostics of DIS-IP2 operability according to 3.4.
The approximate time of DIS-IP2 maintenance is 30 minutes.
All the operations with the product, detected faults, as well as the negative results of
maintenance results should be registered in special logs.
