Besides, up to four expansion units DIS ARMT.665230.207 (Appendix C) can be con-
nected to DIS-IP2 to increase the pushbuttons number.
DIS-IP2 provides the following functions within digital intercom system:
− simplex subscriber communication via SIP, Armtel-IP protocols;
− duplex subscriber communication via SIP protocol;
− communication between terminal devices via wireless data transmission
channel Wi-Fi or via twisted pair through two Ethernet ports (for all versions),
as well as using ADSL (for versions -04…-07) – see Table 1;
− recording of speech messages on DIS-IP2, using programmed pushbutton
with the local function of fragment recording. The record is performed in
WAV file format, with line coding of 16 bit 16 kHz; the message size depends
on the availability of free space in the device storage;
− replaying of speech messages on terminal devices;
− calls with the account for priorities via SIP, Armtel-IP protocols, organization
of unilateral control mode and Cancel function;
− volume control of built-in loudspeakers and calling signal, using programmed
pushbuttons with local functions Increase volume and Reduce volume;
− control of АСМ-IP2 analogue subsystem module for organization of zone
loud-speaking address system, using Relay function.
The configuration of DIS-IP2 is carried out from the personal computer of IPN net-
work administrator, where the software “Configuration software tool of IPN2 system”
RMLT.00041-01.
Figure 1 shows the typical connection diagram of DIS-IP2.
