Bluetooth pairing guide (PAN)
Overview
The Bluetooth Personal Area Networking (PAN) is used for pairing a Mobile PD
and a smart device (smartphones or tablets running iOS or Android).
PAN allows the Mobile PD to use the network or internet connection of the smart
device.
Prerequisites
Due to a restriction in iOS, a USB on-the-go cable and a USB memory stick are
needed when connecting the Mobile PD with the iPhone for the first time. The
USB memory stick must be formatted with a FAT file system (for example FAT32).
The USB memory stick must be connected to the Mobile PD using a USB
on-the-go cable.

To connect the Mobile PD with an iPhone, the following prerequisites must be
fulfilled:
· The iPhone must be connected to the mobile data network
· The network operator and subscription must allow tethering
(network sharing)
· The iPhone must run iOS version 3.0 or higher.
