6-9 Adjustment of feed rock shaft
and feed lifting rock cam
1) Remove cord reel cover, free arm base
and free arm foot bush.
2) Turn the hand wheel to make the needle
rise to its highest point.
3) Use the feed shaft test gauge (A) to
check. (1)
4) Attach the magnetic feed shaft test
gauge (A) on the lower shaft to exam if
the screws of feed lifting rock cam (a, b)
are parallel. (2)
5) If the screws of feed lifting rock cam are
not parallel:
Loosen the screw (a) of feed lifting rock
cam complete (B) and adjust the screws
and front gauge correction (C) to the
middle.
Loosen the screw (b) of feed rock cam
complete (D) and adjust the screws and
front gauge correction (E) to the middle.
