3.3.4 External Terrain Awareness and Warning System
This section describes the visual display of terrain, terrain coloring,
and annunciation of alerts. For specific operation and alert criteria,
consult the guide for the connected HTAWS device.
The AFI4700 supports interfacing with inputs from an external HTAWS
or EGPWS, unit depending on the particular helicopter configuration.
Inputs from an external HTAWS is viewable as a map overlay.
