Q.
When I press
the
[Help]
or
[Undo]
keys,
nothing
happens. Why
not?
Q.
When I move
the mouse,
the
mouse pointer doesn’t
move
as
well.
Q.
When I type
on the key-
board,
nothing appears
on the
screen.
A.
Both the [Help]
and
[Undo] keys
are
designed
to
work with
certain programs.
If
the computer
doesn’t re-
spond, the
program that you
are using
is probably not set
up
for
use
with the
[Help]
or
[Undo]
keys.
A.
Make sure the
mouse is
plugged
firmly into Mouse/
Joystick
port 0. See Appendix
B, Mouse
Care.
If
the mouse
seems
to
be
working
properly, turn the
computer off,
insert
a
different
disk, then
turn it on again.
If
using
a
different disk doesn’t
help, contact
your Atari
retailer or Atari
Customer
Relations,
P.O.
Box
61657,
Sunnyvale, CA
94088.
Write
the
subject
of your
inquiry on
the
outside
of
the
envelope.
A.
You
may not
be
in
a
situa-
tion that
permits
typing. But
you
should be
able to
move
the mouse
pointer
around the
GEM Desktop
with
the
[Alternate]
and cursor keys,
and
activate
the
Desktop
functions
with the [Alternate]
and
[Insert] keys.
