9.12 Front Axle Adjustment
Front axle adjustment procedure is launched by selecting (Figure 43) in the rear
axle adjustment page after carrying out adjustment preliminary operations (see
part 9.10). To adjust angles, the correct sequence is the following: CASTER –
CAMBER – TOE.
WARNI NG: When entering t his st age, cast er values are “ FROZEN” .
To “ de- freeze” these values, you can press Shift + F6 at t he sam e t im e. Or
proceed to t he sum m ary (see part 9.13) and press F1. The program will
display an additional function m enu page ( see part 9.14), now select “Cast er
Adjust m ent” .
Once caster values have been adj ust ed or, even if they are not adjust ed as they
are deem ed t o be correct , it is recom m ended to “FREEZE” again these values.
To repeat this operat ion, press Shift+ F6 at t he sam e t im e. A grid will be
displayed ont o cast er values, t o indicat e that t hey are “ frozen” .
