6.4 Operation with program controller
The program controller controls and monitors the proc-
ess of the test programs. The settings are viewable
via the menu guidance screen on the control panel.
The menu operation is described in the accompany-
ing software documentation.
The program controller provides:
• Six test programs
• Each test program with six test cycles
• Two pre-programmed Atlas standards
(see Table 1)
The end of the program can be selected optionally
according to the criteria:
• Test time (time)
• Radiation (dose)
Additional program functions:
• Programming the light and dark phases
• Selection of the irradiance control at 300 nm – 400 nm,
340 nm, 300 nm – 800 nm, or lux
• Inputting the black standard temperature
Display functions:
• Age of the lamp and the instrument
• Current testing parameters in a target/actual compari-
son
• Actual value of the test chamber temperature
