7.0 Trouble-shooting
7.1 Electrical protection
The supply line voltage reaches the individual components
via the main switch (
,g.1,page7).Thepowersupply
is secured by means of melting fuses on the rear of the
unit(g.40).
– no voltage to power plug
– fuse is defective
– power plug or cable is defective
• check fuse, connect other units (lamp)
to the socket, if necessary
• replace 10A fuse on the rear of the
unit
• check power plug or cable and
replace, if necessary
7.2 Power supply
Mirror is not warmed up with the
mirror quick heater
• check voltage by connecting other con-
suming devices
• replace heating coil (section 6.3)
7.3 Mirror heating
• have heating plate body replaced by a
service technician
• check voltage by connecting other con-
suming devices
– no voltage
– heating coil is defective
– heating plate body in the mirror
preheater plate is defective
– no voltage
Mirror preheater remains cold
Failure with
the Unit
Main switch is activated, no voltage
at the unit, no function, pilot lamps
do not light up
