2. Execute the trace command from the Main server.
From the Main server, enter a list trace ras ip-address x.x.x.x command for the IP
address that is to be monitored. In this example it is the IP address of the ESS server
(135.9.78.143)
The first message exchange is the ESS server sending a Registration Request (RRQ) to the
Main server. The Main server responds with a Registration Confirmation (RCF). The ESS server
and Main server continue a conversation where the ESS server sends a Keep-Alive message
(KARRQ) and the Main server confirms it (RCF). See Figure 51
for an example of the list
trace ras command.
