Use HD1 input on XT7100 for content
presentation
In XT7100, you can now use HD1 input for content presentation (including audio capture) with
resolution up to 4K, while using HD2 for a live camera. This provides a further differentiator to the
flagship endpoint of XT Series, as Ultra HD content capture is mandatory for several vertical
applications as telemedicine.
To leverage this new feature and use HD1 for content, connect the first camera directly to the HD2
port of the XT71000 codec unit (yellow in the picture below) and connect the cable for serial
control and power to the horizontal connector (VISCA port, yellow).
Connect the PC or Mac with resolution up to 4K to the HD1 port of the codec (red) for presentation
content. An HDMI cable or adapter is needed.
