00 - Tare balance interlock. This determines
whether the scale allows the zero key to be
used while a tare is active.
0 - Manual balance is disabled whilst any tare is
active.
1 - Manual balance clears all the tares before
balancing.
01 - Tare cancelling. This determines the
method of cancelling a tare.
0 - Retained. A retained tare will not be
cancelled until all the weight is removed from
the scale and the tare key pressed.
1 - Semi -self cancelling. These tares are
automatically cancelled when both the tare
and the goods are removed from the scale.
The tare can be manually cancelled before
entering a unit price by removing all the
weight from the scale and pressing the tare
key.
3 - Canadian/US price tare cancel. These tares
are automatically cancelled when both the
tare and the goods are removed from the
scale. The tare cannot be manually cancelled
until a unit price is entered and the
transaction completed.
02 - Tare cancelling with Tare keys. This
enables or disables tare cancelling using the
tare key.
0 - Disable tare cancelling with tare key.
1 - Enable tares to be cancelled with the tare
keys.
03 - Keyboard entered tares*.
0 - Disabled.
1 - Enabled.
04 - Cumulative tare. If enabled, tares can be
added together.
0 - Disabled.
1 - Enabled.
05 - PLU tare*. If enabled, a tare can be included
in a PLU.
0 - Disabled.
1 - Enabled.
06 - PLU proportional tare*. If enabled, a
proportional tare can be included in a PLU.
This is compulsory in Canada.
0 - Disabled.
1 - Enabled.
07 - Programming PLU tares*. This determines
whether PLU tares can be programmed
using a PLU hot key.
0 - PLU tares can only be programmed in
management mode.
1 - PLU tares can be programmed from active
tares.
* These are not legal for European scales.
