Saving Mix Presets
The A360 Personal Mixer can save up to 20 Mix Presets—16 are stored using the channel select buttons
numbered 1-16 as storage locations while an additional four can be saved in the Instant Mix Recall™
locations A-D. Mixes are retained in the A360 even when the mixer is powered down.
When a Mix Preset is created, the A360 stores the channel-level settings for the 16 standard mix channels
and the Dual Profile Channel, plus the level setting for the One-Touch Ambience button. See page 42 for a
complete list of what does and does not get saved in a preset.
All 20 Mix Presets in the A360 can be backed up to a PC or copied to another A360 by saving the A360’s
configuration to a USB memory stick in Program mode. See page 51 for information on saving to USB.
P
Note: It is important to remember that the position of the rear-panel mode switch and the type of
A-Net data (original 16-channel maximum Pro16 or enhanced 64-channel maximum Pro16e)
that is in use when Mix Presets are created will have an impact on presets. This is because
the two types of A-Net use different channel mapping schemes and treat stereo channels
differently. Pro16 Mix Presets cannot be used in Pro16e mode and vise-versa. The Recall
button and the mix storage location’s button will blink as an error warning if a mix cannot be
recalled.
Save Button
The Save button is used to store a Mix Preset to either a channel button location (1 through 16) or one of
the four Instant Mix Recall locations (A, B, C, and D).
Save a Mix Preset to a Standard Location
To save a mix to one of the channel button locations:
1. Hold down the SAVe button
2. The red LED in the Save button will blink.
3. While still holding the SAVe button, press one of the 16 standard channel buttons.
4. Release the SAVe button.
5. As a confirmation, all 16 channel buttons will blink briefly.
While holding the Save button, you can store a mix to multiple locations if desired. Each save action will
display the confirmation message (all 16 channel buttons blink briefly).
P
tip:
To determine which Mix Preset was last recalled or saved, hold the SAVe button. The preset
location’s LED will blink as a reminder. Release the Save button to return to the mix.
