A360 PersonAl Mixer User GUide
USB Data Port
The A360s USB data port is designed to use a PC-formatted USB memory stick (thumb drive) to update
its firmware and save/recall mixer configurations and Mix Presets. It is not designed to work with external
hard drives or any other types of peripherals that connect via USB. See page 52 for information about
creating and loading mixer configurations.
Saving a Mixer Configuration to a USB Device
Mix Presets created in an A360 may be saved to a USB memory device for backup or loading into another
A360 Personal Mixer in the form of a mixer configuration. This allows a user’s Mix Presets to be backed up
to a computer or transferred to another A360 Personal Mixer.
A mixer configuration includes:
the 16 standard Mix Presets stored in the mix channel button locations
the 4 Mix Presets stored in the Instant Mix Recall locations
custom channel mapping assignments for the 16 mix channels, Dual Profile Channel, and
One-Touch Ambience buttons
To save the current A360 mixer configuration to a USB memory stick:
1. Insert a USB memory stick device into the USB port on the A360.
2. Place the A360 in ProGrAm mode using the rear-panel switch. All Reverb, Tone, Volume,
Pan, and channel button LEDs go out; all mixing functions are disabled.
3. The SAVe and reCAll buttons start blinking.
4. Press the SAVe button; it lights solid and all mix channel buttons start blinking.
5. Select a channel button (1-16); the button number corresponds to the mixer configuration
number that will be saved to the USB device.
6. The selected channel button’s LED lights solid, all other channel button LEDs stop
blinking.
7. Remove the USB memory stick.
8. Return the rear-panel mode switch to the desired position: choose the CuStom position to
use a custom channel map, choose DefAult to use the standard Pro16e channel mapping,
or choose Pro16 to use the A360 with Pro16 channel mapping.
P
Note: There is no warning if a mixer configuration will be overwritten when saving from the A360 to
a USB device. Always back up your mixer configurations to avoid losing important data.
