TosetthepasswordviaastandardHTTPconnection,enteritdirectlyinthedialog.
TosetthepasswordviaanencryptedHTTPSconnection,followthesesteps:
1.ClickUseHTTPS.
Atemporarycerticate(validforoneyear)iscreated,enablingencryptionofalltrafcto
andfromtheproduct,andthepasswordcannowbesetsecurely.
2.Enterapasswordandthenre-enterittoconrmthespelling.
3.ClickOK.Thepasswordhasnowbeencongured.
ConguretheHardware
CongurethehardwareintheHardwareCongurationpagesbeforeinstallingtheproduct.
Doors,oors,locksandotherdevicescanbeconnectedtotheAxisproductbeforecompletingthe
hardwareconguration.However,theconnectionofdeviceswillbeeasierifyoucompletethe
hardwarecongurationrst.Thisisbecausethehardwarepinchartwillbeavailablewhenthe
congurationiscomplete.Thehardwarepinchartisaguideonhowtoconnectthepinsandcanbe
usedasareferencesheetformaintenance.Formaintenanceinstructions,seepage44.
Tocongurethehardware,selectoneofthefollowingmethods:
•Importahardwarecongurationle.Seepage41.
•Createanewhardwareconguration.Seepage42.
Note
Iftheproduct’shardwarehasnotbeenconguredbeforeorhasbeendeleted,Hardware
CongurationwillbeavailableinthenoticationpanelintheOverviewpage.
ImportaHardwareCongurationFile
ThehardwarecongurationoftheAxisproductcanbecompletedfasterbyimportingahardware
congurationle.
Forinformationaboutexportinghardwarecongurationles,seetheUserManual.
Toimportahardwarecongurationle:
1.GotoSetup>HardwareConguration.
2.ClickImporthardwarecongurationor,ifthereahardwarecongurationalreadyexists,
Resetandimporthardwareconguration.
3.Inthelebrowserdialogthatappears,locateandselectthehardwarecongurationle
(*.json)onyourcomputer.
4.ClickOK.
