8.4.4 Wireless Network Range Extension
To extend the range of the wireless network, the solar panel and rechargeable battery pack powers data radios and special FlexPower
Gateways.
In the system shown, the solar panel system powers a remotely located data radio and Gateway. FlexPower Nodes make
up the remainder of the wireless network. To extend this wireless network even farther from the host system, a solar pan-
el powered data radio repeater can be used.
