14 Recycling and disposal
Batteries are not to be disposed of in the household waste. As a
consumer, it is your duty to send return batteries to a site for envi-
ronmentally-friendly disposal. You can return used batteries to public
collection centres in your community or wherever such batteries are
sold.
This watch and its packaging has been produced for the most part
from materials which are disposed of in an environmentally-friendly
manner and sent for proper recycling.
At the end of its life, the watch will be returned for reuse or to recycle
the materials provided it is returned in a condition which
corresponds to using the watch as intended. Parts of the watch
which cannot be recycled will be disposed of properly.
